Needed a heavy duty hammer drill and the Bulldog has proven its worth. The SDS capability and versatile usages (straight drill, rotary hammer and locked hammer) has done the jobs. Only con is its size to fit into tighter spaces but this has become a staple in my set of tools.

If you occasionally want to drill a small hole in concrete a 1/2" Milwaukee drill might do but when you want to drill larger holes in concrete all day long this Bosch kicks ass and takes names.
Best $[...] I've spent in a LONG time. I would ABSOLUTELY buy this again...

My husband and I do concrete and have always used a smaller Bosch rotary hammer but when his father burned it up we figured it was a good time to upgrade to the 1-inch Extreme and it was of course way cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else. Sorry Lowe's.
Rating: - Makes you want to go drill holes in concrete
I dont need it often but when I have to drill into concrete I dont want it to take all day, I replaced my older Hammer drills as I have to drill a bunch of 3/4 holes. What takes minutes with my old drill takes seconds. If you have to drill concrete this is the tool. I was suprised to see that it has a break in period before it works the best. If it works much better then it does now I may go over to the neighbors and drill some holes for him. Very Good tool. Be sure to buy quality bits with the drill. ... Read More
Rating: - Very pleased
I just got done installing a wall thimble for my pellet stove. I had to go through 8 inches of brick. And make a 8.5 inch hole. I must have drilled about a hundred holes around and into the mortar joints. The hole was completed in less than an hour. I should have bought the chipping bit right away, it would have been done in less time. The Bosch 11255vsr preformed great.
